ModuSpec Horizon Resources has undertaken a wide range of projects since our inception in 2006. This includes rig and equipment inspections, commissioning projects, project management including rig reactivation and upgrades as well as training and HSE audits.

Project Support- Reactivation and Upgrading of Conventional Rig

Project management and support for the reactivation and upgrading of a conventional rig for an onshore to offshore project to drill the longest horizontal wells ever drilled in Australia.

Flow Line Injection Pump (FLIP) Inspections

Inspection of two new FLIP pumps to ensure they were fit for purpose, compliant with relevant Australian and international standards and met the requirements of the relevant state regulator.

Rig, Dropped Objects and Camp Inspection

The project involved completing a mechanical, electrical, dropped objects and camp inspection of a rig in Queensland Australia.

Snubbing Unit Inspection

Inspection of a snubbing unit for fitness for purpose and compliance with international and Australian Standards, operator requirements and Queensland regulations.

Rig Inspection

Silver City requested Horizon to complete a compliance and condition inspection of their newly reconditioned Rig 34 to ensure it was fit for purpose for work in the hydrocarbon drilling industry in Australia.

Project Management - Upgrade, Maintenance and Testing - Victory Class Offshore Rig

The project involved project management of upgrades, maintenance and testing of various systems on a Victory class drilling rig prior to an offshore drilling campaign in Australia.
